About Overflate
CONFERENCE WITH PRESENTATIONS AND EXHIBITIONS
The Overflate Conference and Expo is an established, prestigious event focusing on corrosion protection, surface treatment and insulation. The conference last year attracted more than 350 industry participants, ranging from Top Management to Skilled Craftsmen. The conference is a well-established meeting place with participation from more than 115 companies within the Oil, Gas and Petrochemical industry, ship builders, infrastructure, engineering and inspection companies, contractors and suppliers. This years conference will be held in The Grieg Hall in Bergen, November 12-13.

Overflate is hosted by NKF Bergen
NKF Bergen is now in it's 26th year of operation after the reunion in 1993
NKF Bergen's goal is to create interest and engagement to the subject area corrosion and corrosion protection, and to contribute with knowledge exchange, experience transfer and network building for all actors in the field.
​
The association also aims to stimulate the recruitment of younger members, to ensure continuity and renewal. To achieve this NFK Bergen want to arrange theme nights, workshops, courses and conferences.

LASSE ØVREÅS
StS Gruppen
Lasse Øvreås has had senior positions within Materials and Inspection Technology for over 20 years. He is currently the Technical Manager of the StS gruppen and chairman of NKF Bergen.
CHRISTIAN AARLAND EIDE
Wintershall Norge AS
Christian Aarland Eide has a masters degree in mechanical engineering, with experience as an inspection and mechanical engineer in AGR and Statoil. Eide is now Senior Engineer, static mechanical, in Wintershall Norge AS. Eide has been a member of the program committee since 2011.
BÅRD ESPELID
DNV GL
Bård Espelid has worked within marine technology and integrity management in DNV GL since the early 1980's. Today, he is a DNV GL Subsea and Well Business Development Leader. His tasks are especially connected with following up customers, and service development. Espelid has been involved with the Overflate conference for the past 10 years.
GEIR INSTANES
ClampOn AS
Geir Instanes is the Vice President of ClampOn AS. He has worked with developing ultrasonic sensors in the oil and gas industry for more than 20 years. He is one of the entrepreneurs and owners of ClampOn which has grown to become one of the world's largest distributors of ultrasonic intelligent sensors. Instanes has been involved in programming the Overflate conference for the past three years.

GRETHE SEBAK ROJAHN
NKF Bergen
Grethe Sebak Rojahn has been the treasurer for NKF Bergen since 1994. She has been working in different oil companies, but has now retired from work. Rojahn has been involved with programming the Overflate conference since the very beginning.

Geir Instanes is the Vice President of ClampOn AS. He has worked with developing ultrasonic sensors in the oil and gas industry for more than 20 years. He is one of the entrepreneurs and owners of ClampOn which has grown to become one of the world's largest distributors of ultrasonic intelligent sensors. Instanes has been involved in programming the Overflate conference for the past three years.

SANDRA GUSTAFSSON
AkerBP
Sandra Gustafsson has a Master of Science in materials physics from the Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm. Sandra has approximately 20 years’ experience in the field of materials technology, as well as offshore operations, maintenance and modifications. She is currently working with integrity, corrosion and materials in Stavanger. Sandra has been a member of the committee since 2018.
TOR HARRY FAUSKE
NKF
Tor Harry Fauske has worked within inspection and NDT since the mid-70's and is now technical responsible for Inspection and ISS disciplines on Brage. Fauske has previously been inspection responsible on Troll A and Kollsnes, and held a position as Advisor Inspection Technology in Statoil. He has been involved with the Overflate conference for the past 10 years.
ØYSTEIN BJAANES
DNV GL
Øystein Bjaanes is a materials engineer with more than 20 years of experience within technical failure investigation and root cause analysis, integrity management and technology qualification. Øystein is a Principal Engineer at DNV and has been part of the program committee since 2016.
TOR MINSAAS
Bilfinger Nordics
Tor Minsaas has a Master's Degree in Computer Science, as well as an MBA. He has had various leadership roles in Kongsberg, Norsk Data and BP, before joining Bilfinger in 2010. He has international work eperience from a variety of functions including IT, Finance, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, Project MAnagement and Operations. Minsaas is now Director of Products and Technology within Bilfinger.
